About The Clinic
The Milton Keynes Clinic is led by Superintendent Pharmacist Olufumilola Soetan, an Independent Prescriber and Advanced Clinical Practitioner with 27 years of experience spanning community pharmacy, GP practice, urgent care and NHS 111. Her prescribing experience means your consultation looks at the whole picture — symptoms, diet, medicines and history — before any injection is given.
Not everyone with tiredness needs B12, and we’ll tell you honestly if it’s not the right answer. Where it would help to know your level, we can arrange a private B12 blood test in clinic — and if your symptoms point somewhere else, we’ll say so and signpost you to your GP.

Why B12?
Vitamin B12 is needed for healthy blood cells and nerves, and low levels are surprisingly common — especially with plant-based diets, from around age 50, and with some long-term medicines. When symptoms are caused by low B12, correcting it can make a real difference.
Persistent tiredness, brain fog and pins and needles are all associated with low B12 — but they have many causes, which is why assessment comes first.
Your consultation and injection are with a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber, face to face — not a form on a website.
If B12 isn’t clinically appropriate, we won’t give it. We can arrange a private blood test where useful, or point you to your GP.
Know the Signs
Recognise more than one or two of these? A consultation may be worth your time.
Ongoing fatigue that sleep doesn’t seem to fix.
Poor focus, forgetfulness or feeling mentally slow.
Changes in mood that don’t have an obvious cause.
Tingling in the hands or feet.
Signs sometimes linked to B12-related anaemia.
Mouth ulcers or a sore, red tongue.
Higher-risk groups include people on vegetarian or vegan diets, adults over 50, and those taking certain long-term medicines. These symptoms have many possible causes — that’s exactly what your consultation is for. Worsening pins and needles, or persistent unexplained symptoms, should be discussed with your GP.

Part of a course
All injections are given by a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber and are subject to clinical assessment — we’ll only proceed where it’s appropriate for you. A blood test isn’t always needed first, but we can arrange a private B12 test in clinic where it would be useful. Please contact the clinic to confirm the consultation fee.
